In Japan, shoe sizes are based on foot length and foot girth, as defined by JIS standards.
When choosing shoes, it is important not only to consider the length but also the width that suits your feet.

You can measure your own foot size (foot length and foot girth) using a simple analog method.

Foot Length Measure the straight-line distance between the two most protruding points — from the tip of the longest toe to the heel — while standing upright with your weight evenly distributed on both feet.
Foot Width Measure the horizontal distance between the most protruding points of the big toe joint and the little toe joint.
Foot Girth Measure the circumference around your foot by wrapping a measuring tape over the most protruding points of the big toe joint and the little toe joint.

How to Use the Foot Size Measurement Sheet (Foot Length & Foot Girth)
  1. First, print out the foot size measurement sheet.(A4 size,2 pages)
There are two types, so please choose either one. Cut out the measurement sheet according to the instructions and use it to measure your own foot size.
  2. You can download the measurement sheet as a PDF file and print it out at home or at an office.
Foot Length 15cm~30cm(PDF) Foot Length 10cm~28.5cm(PDF)

 Important Notes

•This sheet is not for deciding your shoe size, but for checking your actual foot size.
Please use it only as a reference.
• Depending on the printer used, slight measurement errors may occur. Always confirm the measured value by comparing it with an actual ruler.

Printing Tips

• When printing, select “Actual Size” instead of “Fit to Page.”
• Depending on your printer, sizes may differ slightly after printing. Please note this in advance.

1. Cut along the indicated cutting lines

2. Apply glue to the marked area and join the two printed sheets together

3. Cut along the line for the foot girth measurement area

4. Measure Foot Length

Place the sheet against a wall, align your heel with the base line, and stand naturally with even weight distribution. Do not press your toes; keep looking straight ahead. The measured length is your foot length.

5. Measure Foot Girt
Wrap a measuring tape around points [A] and [B] (the big toe joint and little toe joint). The measured circumference is your foot girth.

Please mesure your feet while standing upright, without lifting them off the ground.

If you are unable to print
we recommend measuring your feet at home by following these easy steps:

What you will need:
- Pen/Pencil
- Paper
- Ruler/measuring tape

  1. Place the piece of paper under your foot and stand with your heel against a wall
  2. Trace your foot as closely as possible
(Be sure to trace both feet, as one foot is often longer than the other)
  3. With the tracing measure a straight line from the back of the heel to the longest toe
(This will give you the length of your foot in centimetres)
  4. Add 1-1.5cm to this measurement to give you the most accurate length for your shoes
  5. Take this total measurement in cm and using our international sizing chart match it to your UK size.
