Mizuno has launched the football shoe series "MIZUNO α III" (Mizuno Alpha Three), pursuing an even better fit with a new upper structure that incorporates knit for the first time in the series.
The "MIZUNO α" series was launched in November 2022 as the fastest model in Mizuno football history, based on the concept of Mizuno football shoes—"lightweight, flexible, and barefoot-like feel"—and equipped with functions to handle the hard work required in modern football with increased play speed.
The "MIZUNO α III" series adopts a new lightweight and soft knit material for the upper to further pursue fit compared to previous models. By completely reexamining the upper structure suitable for knit, it achieves the most comfortable fit in the history of the "MIZUNO α" series.
About the Features of 'MIZUNO α III JAPAN'

Upper
We have adopted a new lightweight and soft knit and updated it to a three-layer upper structure. Additionally, by adding stitching to the upper, we maintain the softness of the knit while controlling excessive stretching, aiming for a better fit. Furthermore, the lining of the forefoot area of the upper uses the highly grippy 'ZEROGLIDE α Mesh,' reducing foot slippage during play and enhancing the sense of unity with the foot.

Outsole
The 'α Triangle Stud' continues to be used, featuring a structure focused on speed and quick movements in the forward direction (Figure 1). Additionally, to minimize energy loss, a high-rebound midsole 'KaRVO RSTM' (Figure 2) that contributes to sprinting performance has been adopted, enhancing rebound. The heel area uses 'MIZUNO ENERZY' to improve cushioning (Figure 3).

Insole
A new 'Mizuno Energy XP Insole' has been introduced, using Mizuno's highest-performance insole high-rebound sole material, aiming to achieve softness, rebound, and lightness.

Features of the "MIZUNO α III" Series
Except for the SELECT model, the "MIZUNO α III" series uses the 'Engineered Fit Last NEO' for its lasts. Additionally, all models feature the 'α Triangle Stud' on the outsoles, bringing the advantages of the top models to the other models as well.

MIZUNO α III ELITE
Adopting the same upper design as the JAPAN model and incorporating 'MIZUNO ENERZY' in the heel, it focuses on cushioning. The midsole is the same as that of the 'MORELIA NEO IV JAPAN,' aiming for lightweight, flexible, barefoot-like comfort. It also uses the same 'Mizuno Energy XP Insole' as the JAPAN model.

MIZUNO α III PRO
Adopting the same upper design as the JAPAN model, the midsole is the same as that of the 'MIZUNO α III ELITE.' It also uses the same 'Mizuno Energy XP Insole' as the JAPAN model.

MIZUNO α III SELECT
Mainly for entry-level users, it adopts a wider last proven in the 'MONARCIDA' series, providing a secure fit. In addition, a highly durable outsole suitable for hard surfaces such as dirt grounds has been newly developed and adopted.
